Love Thyself

Valentine's inspiration from Canadian Women-Owned brands

Hello friend,

In a world of political shockwaves, we are as keen as ever to support local as much as we can.  Since launching Genuinely Stellar, we’ve covered dozens of Canadian women-owned brands and will continue to curate exceptional products from founders from the north. This week, every brand in the newsletter is Canadian and as always, women-owned. We’re focussing on self-love to celebrate Valentine’s Day and as a way to turn inward from all the tension in the world around us.

Treat yourself to something sexy from a Calgary-based brand that sews every garment artfully by hand; Chocolate for Valentine’s Day is a must: we found a brand in Ottawa that wants you to mail it in; Fill your bath with glacial goodness from the Yukon and transport your imagination to the north; Don’t let menopause get in the way of your most intimate moments, two women from BC have just the thing to get your mojo back; And enjoy some whimsy from a Toronto illustrator for the perfect Valentine’s gift to yourself.

As always, we appreciate your referrals. If you love waking up to Genuinely Stellar in your inbox every Sunday morning, please invite your friends to subscribe. You can do so by copying your unique referral link (towards the end of the newsletter) into an email, text or social post, so we can reward you for the subscribers you send our way.

Enjoy!

Lingerie, made by hand, in small batches, in Canada. If this sounds too good to be true, wait until to see the price!

Go ahead, send chocolate to yourself! It couldn’t be easier with these flavourful bars that are mailed in a postcard.

A warm bath with active ingredients from an icy cold landscape may be just the thing you need this Valentine’s Day.

This one’s for you, menopausal compadres! These women want you to celebrate intimate moments and they have just the thing you need (and a special offer, just for you).

Self-love can mean fun and whimsy, so why not treat yourself to a fun silkscreen print from an illustrator whose work pops up everywhere.
