The Earth Day Issue
Women Entrepreneurs Inspired and Motivated by Nature
Hello friend,
Earth Day is just two days away and while we find that most of the brands we write about have an earth-friendly bent, we wanted to highlight five brands and creators this week with unique and meaningful ways of honouring and protecting Mother Earth.
We feature a skincare brand from an Indigenous leader who studies the relationship between plants and people and creates products honouring her heritage and the plants that are integral to her culture; we feature a sustainable fashion brand with a low carbon footprint, keeping everything from fabrication to construction close to its Toronto studio for a truly made in Canada collection; we share the story of a former fashion executive who shifted to wellness when she saw a gap in the yoga mat market, filling it with visions of nature; we meet two women who want you to aim for zero waste in your daily routine and they show us how they do it in every aspect of their business; and we introduce an artist inspired by the sky and the beauty that graces us when we look up.
As always, we appreciate your referrals. If you love your Sunday morning dose of inspiration from Genuinely Stellar, invite your friends to join you in this weekly ritual. Simply send them an email, text or social post and ask them to subscribe and support the women entrepreneurs we feature by learning their stories and shopping their products. Be sure to include your unique referral link, which you can find toward the end of this email.
Enjoy!
