The Founders and Friends Issue

Partnerships that run deep and products you need to know

Hello friend,

As friends and co-founders, we thought it would be interesting to explore the dynamic between other friends who choose to launch businesses together. We were surprised to learn that of the duos we tapped for their thoughts, a few of them no longer define their relationship as a friendship. It’s actually much deeper than that. Two of them say their co-founders are even named in their wills! One thing is for certain: the power of two women working toward a common goal is a force to be reckoned with. The products and the brands these women have built, are all exceptional.

We feature a jewellery brand with leaders who say they’re more like sisters than friends and the yin and yang of their professional experiences is what brings them success; we introduce an innovative food brand that sparked a friendship between two women entrepreneurs passionate about healthy food; we feature a quirky and fun paper goods brand from two women who share a heritage and sense of humour; a truly natural skin care brand that has overcome monumental challenges thanks to the strength of is founders’ partnership; and a pair of co-founders who actually live and raise their children together. You heard that right! They live under the same roof while plotting how to take their business to the next level.

Our Oakville event is around the corner! If you haven’t RSVP’d there’s still time. Read up on all the festivities and let us know you will be there.  We can’t wait to see you!

Enjoy!

The women behind this brand of accessible jewellery are so close, they are the executors of each other’s wills. The trust between them is the engine behind their growth.

And if you can guess the meaning behind their brand name, you unlock a 15% discount on your purchase. Find out how.

The women behind this brand became fast friends over their passion for healthy food. Now success is brewing and their relationship is more than a friendship.

Take two friends with the same sense of humour, a shared heritage and serious design chops and you have the makings of a brand that strikes a chord with everyone.

The founders of this brand always believed in natural skin care solutions. Their convictions became even stronger after one of them faced a serious health battle.

Two women, one mission, a passion for yoga and a life that’s intertwined in more ways than you can imagine.

We would love for you to join us in Oakville this week! Sip some Mezcal, admire some fine art, discover your new favourite blush, try an alcohol-free cider, learn about chemical-free (and dare we say stylish) bug repellent, try the supplement brand Aynsley swears by, taste the cocktail mixes Tonia is obsessed with and shop the night away!

RSVP today by clicking on the button below the invite. Bring your friends and you will get a professional photo taken of the two, or three or four of you! We have a special surprise greeting at the door you won’t want to miss!
