Women Supporting Women in Need
Join us in giving to a cause dear to our hearts
Hello friend,
I’ve long held the belief that when women support other women, good things happen. It’s the reason I corral all of you each Sunday to read about women entrepreneurs and the amazing products they bring to market. When you direct your consumer dollars to them, you are supporting their businesses, their livelihoods, and their families. This holiday season, I invite you to join me in supporting another category of women.
Armagh House is a refuge and resource for women escaping violence and abuse. It provides safe housing and programs for women and their children to escape dangerous situations. I’ve donated to Armagh over the years because of the excellent work they do, giving women a chance at freedom and independence, and their children a safe haven in which to grow and flourish in peace.
I invite each of you to join me in giving what you can to this important cause. The story below from Armagh is a powerful example of the good that comes when women support other women. You will find the link to donate towards the end of the email.
I wish you the very best for the holiday season, and thank you for your readership. It means to the world to have a community of like-minded people who are as passionate about helping other women as I am.
Happy Holidays!

Armagh is focused on comprehensive, holistic healing that breaks the cycle of violence for women and children.

Thirty years ago, 8-year-old Samira was living at Armagh with her mom and younger sister, Sabrina. One school night, their mom surprised them: bundle up—they were going outside to make a snowman. “It’ll be fun! The snow is fresh! Let’s go!”
Samira remembers the crisp darkness, lit only by the porch light, as they built a small snowman in the garden. Their mom snapped photos of the magical moment.
“Moments like this were few but deeply treasured,” Samira shares, “moments where we could be free and safe and just have fun together. Any time we look at those pictures now, it’s like we can still smell that crisp air and melt into those feelings of home, safety, and freedom.”
Gifts of Hope. Moments of Joy.
Help women and children begin again—surrounded by moments that restore feelings of home, connection, and hope. Each gift is a thread of courage—woven together by people like you.
