Hello friend,

As mothers of teen girls, we had so much fun putting this issue of the newsletter together to celebrate Mother’s Day. Three of our stories feature mother-daughter duos who have joined forces in business. At least one of the pairs started when the daughter was the same age as our girls! The magic that happens when the creativity and energy of youth come together with the knowledge and confidence of age, is truly awe-inspiring.  We were also stopped in our tracks by a poet who writes about motherhood and the complexity of emotion that comes with it. Finally, this issue stirred up memories of how our own mothers guided and inspired us to pursue our dreams as young women and how they continue to cheer us on to this day.
